ABOUT

Hi! I’m Isabel Cabardo, a self-taught graphic designer from Toronto with 11+ years of experience. I began designing at 13 years old in August 2014 when I first saw a sports “edit”. It had been reposted by Manny Pacquiao, done by a talented Instagram-based graphic designer. This combined my two passions of sports and art, and would spark interest into the world of graphic design. I’d go on to create my first Instagram account, “@on_the_court_edits”, changing my name, my techniques, and my style many times over the years until I ultimately reached @TakeThePitch; my way of showing the world soccer-based news through the use of art. My style has since expanded well beyond sports and into all things creative.

I run two Instagram pages: @TakeThePitch, which is my soccer art page, and @TwoTres, my main Instagram page where I post anything my mind can think of. I work primarily in Photoshop, am learning Illustrator, and am constantly looking to improve my skills.

I love learning new things, meeting new people, and creating new art. If you have an idea in mind, I have the skills to make it happen!
